I spoke at TEDxBocaRaton in October 2019, on the theme “Rethinking Relationships”. My talk focused on human relationships with ice and how rapidly our understanding of our ice sheets has changed in the last two decades. The video is below:

SCIENCE WRITING

While I am certainly interested in earth science as a scientist, I also engage with it from a storytelling aspect to elevate climate stories especially from threatened communities and ecosystems and to ensure we protect important areas of our Earth.

In following with this interest in science communication, I have written two guest blogs for Scientific American, one about statistics of political polling and the other about an experience seeing the start of the melting season in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland.
